Just a short boat ride from the mainland, Little Corn Island, Nicaragua, is a serene escape from the everyday. Little Corn Island is approximately 1.2 square miles in size and is car-free! On Little Corn, we’ll stay at Yemaya Reefs, a luxurious all-inclusive oceanfront resort. Luxury Accommodations
Yemaya Reefs offers a collection of elegant oceanfront bungalows and unique boat suites designed for relaxation and connection with nature. Every room features breathtaking ocean views and a private terrace just steps from the sea. Though remote, the resort provides all the conveniences of a boutique retreat, including air-conditioning, ceiling fans, mini-fridges, safes, toiletries, bottled water, blackout curtains, Wi-Fi, and daily housekeeping.
Check-in is at 2 pm daily; Check-out is at 11 am daily.
Concierge Services
Yemaya Reefs staff are there to help us. They offer an excellent concierge service ready to address any need both on and off property. Because getting to Little Corn is a multi-leg journey, the concierge’s role is significant in making sure transfers align and you’re not left stranded. The resort emphasizes “boat to resort” as part of the concierge experience — making your arrival feel part of the adventure. Staff will help to make sure you have your airport and island transportation arranged pre-trip and can help you book activities during your stay including scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing.

Daily Yoga + Movement Practices
Classes offered range from Vinyasa, Power, or Yin Yoga to Shake The Dust somatic movement. Breathwork and meditation will be offered daily. All skills and abilities are welcome.

Sunset Boat Cruise
An excursion that will take you along the coastline of Little Corn Island, pausing at two distinct vantage points for the sunset while sampling fresh ceviche served on the deck.

Snorkeling Excursion
This tour takes you straight into the vivid underwater world surrounding Little Corn Island. From the resort, you’ll head out to vibrant coral reefs to snorkel among colorful reef fish, turtles, and rays. All necessary equipment is provided. It’s a wonderful and safe experience for both first-time snorkelers and those more seasoned.

Fresh, Local Cuisine
The resort restaurant captures the essence of island living with its open-air, oceanfront setting and vibrant, locally inspired cuisine. Centered around fresh, seasonal ingredients, the menu features just-caught seafood, garden-grown produce, and Nicaraguan-Caribbean flavors. All dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Getting to Little Corn Island
Step 1: Arriving to Managua, Nicaragua (not included in retreat price - must book on own)
International flights to Managua/Augusto C. Sandino International Airport are available with United Airlines, American Airlines, Avianca, Copa and Aero Mexico. Please check with the individual airline carriers for current schedules. If timing does not align for you to fly from Managua to Big Corn Island on the same day and you need a hotel overnight, we recommend these safe and affordable stays near the airport: Best Western Las Mercedes (directly across from the airport) or Hotel Globales Camion Real (2 min. drive from the airport, but more upscale).
Step 2: Fly to Big Corn Island (included in retreat price - resort arranges for guests)
Flights from Managua to Big Corn Island are operated by La Costeña airline, which is right next to the Managua Airport/Augusto C. Sandino International Airport. When you exit the Managua Airport doors, turn left and walk to the end of the airport, and you will see the La Costeña terminal (5 minute walk). Yemaya Reefs will book your flight from Managua to Big Corn Island once you provide your retreat host with your passport information. The resort will handle everything from the airline counter in Managua straight to the reception at Yemaya.
PLEASE NOTE: You are allowed to take only 30 lbs. of checked luggage and one carry-on item weighing up to 20 lbs. More than this will incur a charge of $1.95 USD per additional pound.
Step 3: Boat to Little Corn Island (included in retreat price - resort arranges for guests)
Once you land at Big Corn Island airport, the resort have private taxis waiting at the airport with our group’s details, which will bring you to the wharf to your private boat transfer. The resort transportation assistance operates on the airlines/retreat guests’ schedule. So in the event any retreat guests come early or stay later, Yemaya Reefs works to your schedule, including if you’d like to stay on Big Corn Island. If anyone is interested in staying on Big Corn, Yemaya Reefs has a partner hotel there that can be recommended.
PLEASE NOTE: The boat crossing from Big Corn Island to Little Corn Island can be delayed or cancelled due to bad weather. The ride can be bumpy with the chance of getting wet depending on the sea conditions, so please be prepared for this. If you suffer from seasickness we suggest taking anti motion sickness pills before the journey. In the event the ride is delayed or cancelled the resort will ensure that guests are taken care of and make it to the island when it is safe to do so. Additionally, when you arrive at Little Corn Island, there are no motorized vehicles.

Cancellation by Participant:
All deposits are non-refundable.
More than 60 days before the retreat: Full refund minus non-refundable deposit.
Less than 60 days before the retreat: No refund available.
No refunds or credits will be issued for early checkouts.
No refunds or credits will be issued for adverse weather, natural disasters, force majeure events (including pandemics, social unrest, or government restrictions), or travel delays.
Transfer Policy: If you cannot attend the retreat, you may transfer your spot to another participant, provided you notify Kayleigh at least 45 days before the retreat start date. A $50 transfer fee will apply.
